If you’re not sitting down, now would be a good time to do so. Some time ago we lobbed major complaints at the people behind X-Men 3, aka, massacre quality character-fest. Though that sin was committed to leave Wolverine as the title character of the X-men movie franchise, namely killing off characters like Professor X, Jean Grey and Cyclops in the process, it’s almost tempting to let it all be forgiven.
What?!
Just watch the following trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Yes, some of it makes no sense in terms of continuity and fans of DC/Marvel/Trek and name your other guilty pleasure fiction, because it’s the way the movie world is going to work. As long as the core concepts aren’t butchered too much, we should keep our pitchforks at bay. This trailer is awesome.
